Colombia Honey Process Aponte
Very nice Colombian bean with fruit accented low tones, thick body. Notes of dried orange, raisin, sorghum syrup, and intense dark chocolate. Roasted City+. Good for espresso. The complex aroma delivers smells of honey and rustic natural sugars, with notes of cooked fruits, caramel apple, and bittersweet core elements with deeper roasting. The cup was juicier than I expected, with a pleasant cherry note as it cooled. Our City+ roast brings out cocoa flavors that brought to mind roasted cacao nibs or high % dark chocolate bars. Fruited notes are pushed into the background more than at lighter levels, but still persist in the cup. Accents of dried date, and cherry are intertwined with core bittersweet flavors, bringing about profiles of chocolate covered dried fruit.

Roaster's Notes
Fantastic honey process Colombian coffee- nice full body with chocolate and sorghum notes, but with a hint of fruit to balance out the cup.
